B.C. Camping Trip, Part 1
I've finally gotten off my butt and decided to do some planning for the camping trip Fane and I are going on in early August. We haven't really done anything, except decide that we want to spend time in the Okanagan in inner B.C.

After looking at a ton of pages, I've decided to reserve a site at Otter Lake for five nights (Mon. Aug 7 - Sat. Aug 12). It looks to have a nice beach, tree-laden campgrounds, and overall an old-school camping feel. Swimming, fishing, hiking...and cooking stuff over the fire. Can't forget that.

I don't really want to drive out there all at once, since it's a 13-hour drive. As such, I'm trying to decide on somewhere to stay for a few nights that's midway, maybe around Jasper or Banff. We might even stop back in that area on our way home to stay a night...or we could just leave the campsite at 9:00am and drive nonstop. We'll see.
