Weekend Summary 492386
The usual group of Fane, Chris, Paul, and myself headed out to Eagle Rock (just outside Beaumont) for a round of golf Saturday morning. The courses have gotten a lot better this past month; a shame, since I was kind of getting used to having water-soaked shoes, putting on brown green, and otherwise golfing on sucky courses.
I had a decent long game, but my short game sucked for the most part. I finished with a 109; I don't think Fane told me his score, other than "this is the most you've beaten me by." I attribute that to the beer I kept feeding him.
I met up with Dan and Cheryl afterwards. We talked about our upcoming back-country camping trip that's taking place in two weeks. I also fixed Cheryl's aunt's computer (her software firewall was blocking access to the DNS server), and uploaded pirate(d) maps onto Dan's GPS for camping.
I played hockey later that night. It was hard getting used to regular skates after wearing goalie skates for so long.
I was supposed to play in a golf tournament Sunday with Aaron, but I don't know where we were playing, or when. I called him Saturday night, and he wasn't sure either. He was supposed to get back, but called when I was playing hockey and didn't leave a voicemail. So Sunday I lounged around for the most part. I started playing GTA3: San Andreas again. I got a haircut that's a bit short -- I can't style it, it just sticks up. I made more stew. I played more hockey -- in goal this time.
A routine weekend, I guess. Nothing too special.
