Update: It's Been a While
It's been a good two weeks since I last posted on here. I'm not sure why; I just haven't been inclined to do so. But, for the bored, here's what's taken up my time lately:

- I pulled my groin in the Heckle. I didn't really notice it until the next day, when it was sore when I got out of bed. I had to skip my morning hockey games for the next week.

- I changed the spark plugs in my engine on the Sunday after the Heckle. That involved rotating my engine forward to be able to barely reach previously unreachable plugs. Still, better than some engines...or so I've heard.

- I took the Friday before and the Tuesday after the Family Day weekend off...a nice five-day long weekend, the 16th-20th.

- Friday evening through Sunday morning, I went to a friend's house for his annual long-weekend LAN party. More entertaining than last year's. We played the same games, but my laptop was inexplicably faster this year. Drank about 1500mg of caffeine in Jolt Colas in a 48-hour period, plus however many more Diet Pepsi's I had. Health Canada recommends no more than 500mg a day.

- Turkey dinner Sunday evening at the parents. Changed my car's oil as well.

- Played in my friend's annual Family Day soccer game on Monday (Feb 19th). Hit his aunt in the face with a full-strength kick from six feet away when I was clearing the ball. Strained my quads a tiny bit; they were sore all week.

- Ran errands with my dad all day Tuesday (Feb 20th). Had passport pictures taken, dropped mine off at the doctor to be signed, dropped his off at the dentist to be signed.

- Played hockey for the third time that week on Friday (Feb 23). Quads were still sore from soccer. Hurt the right quad even more during the warmup. Played out my first 10-minute shift, then left in pain.

- Bought a half-decent Ikea dining table and chairs off the online classifieds for $50. Also got a nice floor lamp for $10 and a rolling stand/cart for $20.

Alright, now you're updated. As you were.
