The Marksman 1010 Classic!
During almost every round of golf I've played this season, there's been geese on the course. I don't hate geese, per say, but everytime I take a shot, I secretly hope I hit one. I don't actually try to hit them, though...why waste a shot? I have been known to chase them and throw golf balls at them, though. But that didn't seem like enough.

So, about ten days ago I picked up an airgun. A air pistol, to be specific. The classic .177 calibre Marksman 1010, which apparently has been in production since at least 1972. A nice solid zinc body (unlike most other guns, made of plastic); and it shoots BB's, pellets, darts, and bolts.

It has sub-par accuracy (what do you expect for $30?), but I can still consistently hit a pop can at 25 feet. It shoots at 200fps, which, according to the manual, can safely be shot inside. As such, I set a large box on the table, lined the back with styrofoam slabs, and hung a target printout off the top. Shooting and being indoors? Awesome.

I probably won't end up bringing it with me next time I go golfing, but it's still a totally awesome investment. Pfoot! Pfoot!
